Twenty years of HR experience.
One enduring focus:
people.

After two decades shaping talent strategy and developing leaders at a global Fortune 100 company, I now bring that experience into coaching—helping professionals and leaders grow, navigate change, and move forward with clarity.

Meet Pooja

Strategy grounded in experience. Coaching centered on people.

I'm Pooja Bhatt, Founder & Principal of Bhatt Coaching & Advisory LLC, an ICF Certified Executive Coach and former IBM Global HR leader with 20+ years of experience shaping talent strategy, developing leaders, and helping organizations navigate growth and change.

Throughout my career, I partnered with leaders across the globe to strengthen talent and leadership capability—from supporting early-career professionals as they built confidence and found their voice to advising senior leaders navigating complex business environments.

Today, I bring that experience into my coaching and advisory practice, combining a strategic HR perspective with a coaching approach rooted in curiosity, empathy, and meaningful conversation. I help professionals navigate career growth, leaders grow in confidence and effectiveness, and organizations strengthen their talent strategies.

"I coach because I've experienced the impact that thoughtful guidance, perspective, and encouragement can have on a person's growth, a leader's effectiveness, and an organization's success."

My Background

A career built on developing talent and leaders.

For more than 20 years at IBM, I worked across global HR and talent leadership roles, partnering with leaders around the world on talent strategy, leadership development, workforce insights, and organizational change.

As a proud alum of IBM’s HR Leadership Development Program, I gained firsthand experience navigating a complex global organization and building relationships across cultures. Throughout my career, I coached and mentored professionals at different stages from early-career talent, including individuals in the HR Leadership Development Program, to experienced leaders navigating greater responsibility and complexity.

That breadth of experience continues to inform the perspective I bring to my work today.

Why I Coach

Someone once listened, asked the right questions, and helped me find my own answers. Now I do that for others.

Early in my career, mentors helped me navigate hard decisions and build real confidence. That support changed my trajectory — and showed me what one good conversation can do.

I've since watched too many talented people stall on clarity and confidence, not ability. Coaching is how I give that back: helping others find their voice, their direction, and the momentum to act.

Accountability

I encourage you and challenge you in equal measure.

Clarity

I ask the questions that surface your own answers.

Empathy

I get to know the person, not just the goal.
